Storage Masters is a family-owned second-generation business run by John B. Burrows and Michael Burrows. Founded in 1984 by John R. Burrows, we are committed to providing friendly, personal self storage units at affordable prices. 

In the 1980s, the self-storage industry transitioned from  “mom and pop” to a booming full-blown profitable and professional sector. John wanted to be at the forefront of that trend. In 1984, John decided to develop an unused plot of land in Denver, CO, adjacent to an apartment complex he owned into the first Storage Masters facility. 

After the success of the Denver storage location, John looked for the next place to expand his business. Born and raised in St. Louis, John returned to his family roots to grow his storage business. Storage Masters went on to build and purchase storage facilities throughout Missouri and Illinois.  

Today, Storage Masters owns and operates over 4,400 storage units totaling 600,000 square feet.
